Derek started this radon measurement business to educate homeowners and families on the dangers of radon.

Radon is the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer in the United States and kills around 22,000 people a year. Unfortunately, I learned about radon when I lost a close relative to lung cancer caused by radon. My goal is to educate as many people as possible of the dangers of radon in your home and to protect families from any unnecessary illness.

I started RadonEDU Radon Testing in 2017 and have tested hundreds of homes and businesses since then, providing families with peace of mind. I grew up in Rural LaSalle county and Currently reside in Leland where I also have a Home Inspection business of 14yrs that I partner with a good friend Brian who also is a Real Estate Broker. Between both of our expertise we can take on any of your real estate needs

I have 2 children one who just graduated college as registered nurse and one who is a sophomore in high school. They remind me of why I continue to educate and to protect other families loved ones from Radon.
